The School of Computing Sciences 和 Computer Engineering is a welcoming student-engaged, research-active 组织. We offer undergraduate degrees in computer science, information technology, 计算机工程, 网络安全, along with minors 和 certificate programs in software engineering, 网络安全, 和 计算机网络. The University of Southern Mississippi has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency 和 美国.S. Department of Homel和 Security.
Two of our programs are offered fully online: the Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science 和 Bachelor of Applied Science in Cybersecurity. 我们还有一个 Accelerated Bachelor of Science to Master of Science pathway that enables students to take six hours of graduate credit before receiving the Bachelor of Science degree. We offer a Master of Science degree in Computer Science 和 a PhD in Computational Science.
